An interview with the band, from their vacantion in New York City, translated by me in English from the BRAVO Romania magazine. *wink* Hope you'll like it! Here are some photos, too. TOKIO HOTEL Super-exclusive! In deep secret, Tokio Hotel went for a few days in New York. Just BRAVO had acces to their personal travel photos. Enjoy! Our super vacantion in NYC! BRAVO: It's great that Gustav made so many photos. Tom: Yes, it's a little proffesionist in photography. While we're not in Europe, we try to make the fans closer to our experiences and travels, at least with these photographies. This is the way we feel closer to them all the time! BRAVO: Which was your favourite thing in NYC? Tom: It was our first trip in USA, so all was so beautiful! Bill spended his time making a lot of shopping, and I was so excited that there were so many hip-hop shops! BRAVO: The flight took you a lot of time, right? Tom: Yeah, over 8 hours. Very annoying! And the thing that really annoys me is the exagerated security. I had to go about 10 times trought the control point, while my collegues were on the other side. What can I do? I had so many chaines and bracelets at my belt In America they asked us for our amprents, before entering the country. BRAVO: Which monuments had you visited? Tom: We were near the Liberty Statue. We went to the Zero Point and to Broadway. We saw the musical "The Phantom from the Opera". It wasn't my taste of musical, after half an hour, I was totally bored! BRAVO: How was the food? You all are junk-food fans, so I think that you were in Paradise... Tom: Yes, it was great! We ate at Taco-Bell and at some fast-foods. But most exciting was the breakfast, when we had pancakes with a lot of maple tree syrop. It was delicious. BRAVO: How much cash did you spend at shopping? Tom: Too much. I bought a lot of clothes. Bill and Georg had losted while they were shopping and they arrived in Chinatown. There nobody understood nobody; and they also bought nothing, all labels were in Chinese. They escaped from there just with a taxi. BRAVO: Looks like an amazing trip! Tom: Yes, it was, we enjoyed it very much, but we missed home. I don't know if somebody can understand how much we missed our European fans. Just for that, we made for them something special: on September appears our new live DVD, including personal videoclips from the tour and from concerts.
